Kettering University’s new MBA program provides students the ability to become effective management professionals and leaders in modern organizations. The MBA consists of 13 core courses (48 quarter credit hours). The core curriculum focuses on the business concepts and methods that will provide graduates of the program the ability to be effective management professionals and leaders. Students pursuing the MBA must select an area of concentration and electives in the program that will allow them to customize their MBA program to suit their professional needs.

Engineering Concentrations include:
(Students must have a Bachelor's degree from an ABET-accredited Engineering discipline/program.)
- Power Electronics and Machine Drives (Electrical Engineering)
- Wireless Communications (Electrical Engineering)
- Mechanical Design (Mechanical Engineering)
- Systems Engineering (Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering) *
- Manufacturing Engineering (Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering) *
* Students taking these technical concentrations cannot select courses that substantially support their undergraduate degree.

Students should review course descriptions for prerequisites and select courses carefully to avoid lacking a prerequisite in future terms. The student is responsible for ensuring prerequisite requirements are satisfied and for completing all courses required for each degree area. Students may wish to test out of these prerequisites. Each test is $30.00. Students may attempt each test one time only.

Dual Degree Option
The MBA may be taken as a dual degree or additional degree in conjunction with the following degrees:
MS-Manufacturing Management
MS-Operations Management
MS in Information Technology
MS-Engineering Management
If you are a graduate of one or more of the programs listed above, AND if you completed your degree in the year 2000 or more recently, you may qualify for the Dual Degree Option. Or if you are currently in one of the programs above, you may have the option of leveraging the Dual Degree Option. The Dual Degree/Additional Degree Option for the MBA must be started within 6 years of completion of the first degree and completed within an additional 3 years.
The MBA as an additional degree requires a minimum of 20 additional credit hours. In some cases, additional credit hours may be required to meet the minimum common professional component as required for accreditation. You must complete an Application for Admission before starting your dual degree classes
